Explorer Sir Ranulph Fiennes has agreed to be patron to the Somerset Prostate Support Association.

Next Taunton meeting will be held at The Albemarle Centre, Albemarle Road from 2 to 4pm on Wednesday 23rd September 2009 when two urology nurse specialists from Musgrove Hospital will answer your questions.

Next Yeovil meeting will be held at Holy Trinity Hall, Lysander Road from 2 to 4pm on Wednesday 14th October 2009 when David Trigg will tell his story of using Brachytherapy treatment.

Library Books, Videos and DVDs available for borrowing as at 1st February 2008

The following have been selected to help men and their families at most stages of prostate cancer. It is hoped, with increased knowledge, that men will feel empowered to deal with their disease and be able to assist their doctors in treatment choices.
Books, Videos and DVDs may be borrowed for one calendar month for a fee of £1.00 per item. If the item has to be sent to the borrower by post, an invoice will be included to cover postage and packaging. All monies due must be paid upon return of the item. Return postage costs will also need to be met by the borrower.
There will be a charge of 20p per day per overdue item as others may be waiting to borrow it. You can renew the item for a further month, provided that no one else is waiting for it. The small library, will be taken to meetings held in Yeovil and Taunton.
